This is a great little railroad. The tour is full of information and the engineers are friendly. The trip is not too long for little kids :😀. A great place for families and/or train enthusiasts.

What a great experience for anyone interested in trains, gold mining, Colorado history and breathtaking views. At 2 feet wide the narrow gage rail feels tiny compared to modern trains and the coal fired steam engine is constantly drawing attention with all of its wonderful noises and smells. A real bargain for lifetime memories and a friendly and informative staff round out the fun. Be ready for the weather up there, it can change in an instant.

First time riding the train. Hit it right on time, before they closed for the season, and during fall. What an amazing experience! I wish I remembered the engineers name, but she was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the mines, and the area in general. It was foggy and cold as we went through the fall foliage. A unique, fun experience. My thanks to the entire staff. Great group of people.

This was an amazing experience. Great with the kids. Good for all ages. The train driver speaks about the gold mines in Cripple Creek. Drinks and ice creams are served and allowed on the train ride. There are restrooms and picnic tables. Prices were fair. Fun learning experience.

All ages. Very informative about the mines and wonderful views of Echo Valley!
Not really. There are 2 steps to board the train and go into the gift shop. You can get to the train from parking lot without stairs though. The rest of the town is fairly accessible if you want to go from casino to casino.
You dont have to book ahead and there are no tunnels
The majority of the town and establishments are handicap accessible but expect some challenges with steep hills and gravel etc. And keep in mind the infrastructure of the town is very old so adapting is an ongoing process. And most of all enjoy!
I have no answer for this. I would say Google the hours they are open or call them. Sorry
