I really like this shop. Lots of good gear and fly tying materials. The gents behind the front desk are helpful, but not pushy on any sales or anything. I have even met the owner and he was very kind and professional, with a real passion for fly fishing.

This used to be a good shop but it has slipped to the point I don’t want to even go there. I honestly don’t know why they are still in business. Don’t waste your time ordering something. They never follow up and call you as to status. They have no customer service skills either. They have had good salesman quit over time so there is only one left. Their selection isn’t bad, but the kinds of fly fishing gear they carry has gone down a lot. I recommend going to the other fly fishing shop in Anchorage, where they do care.
