Did you know your local health department is for everyone! Not only is it for your health, they also have many other services. Dental and Eyes. They have the best eye professional and assortment of frames. Can't find what your looking for, Bruce has a book and he can order from there. From my experience, they actually care and happy to help. Depending on the type of insurance you carry, the pricing is surprising. My last pair of single lense, wired frames, cost around $40. They also have a mobile bus that you can make an eye appointment with. Parks in a few locations on certain times in the month. No excuses, get your eyes checked. Medicaid, your exam & glasses are provided for you. Social security and it's the discounted price, I mentioned above. Support your local health department. Win win for everyone.

I’ve been coming here for years and I was seen by Dr. Elicet and she was sooo nice very knowledgeable made you feel very comfortable and actually helped and guided you thru everything and never made me feel like I wasn’t a priority or just wanted to get me out of there she was awesome

Called day before to confirm my appointment time at 1:30pm in the dental division. Checked in at 1:30pm. Confirmed again at the counter that my appointment is at 1:30pm. An hour and a half later everyone has gone to the back. Still sitting for over 2 hours. Was told someone changed my appointment time to 3pm. Was told that they don’t know what happened. So lack of responsibility and lack of communication! I’m in pain and was told oh well and wait. They have to take everyone else, even though I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TOO!!! Beyond over them.

Hey Tim! The walk-in hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm.
You can always ask for the rapid testing and the result are within 15min. However, not all clinics and institutions have the rapid testing, please besure to contact them direclty and inquire before going. Please be safe and wishing you a quick recovery!

There is are a couple of eye doctors, I am not sure of their level of qualification.
There is a walk-in clinic. They prefer for that to be used for urgent care but they can still see you. You can always call or go online to make an appointment too.
