This is just the type of restaurant Vermillion needed. Dakota Brick House is not one of the usual college bars, but a true cocktail bar serving the classics and anything else you can come up with. The selection was great and the menu prices were very reasonable. Definitely give the beer cheese a try while you're here. Our server, a college student, was very helpful and friendly. I was a little disappointed in the preparation of a couple of the cocktails, but I would like to come back again and try some others.

This ok bar food. The bone in wings are really good here. The service is so so. They weren't that busy but forgot some of our drinks, condiments, and the wings that were ordered as appetizers were brought out last. Its an ok stop to eat somewhere but not worth the trip to go to again. Much better selections for in town dining in Vermillion.

We sit at the bar for superb service and excellent food & drinks. It’s always busy—not too much wait for a table, though. We each have our favourites and are always coming back!

Scottland Yard

Hands down some of the best food in South Dakota. Often this is a venue for talented local entertainment as well. The service is great very attentive, a must for anyone who has a discriminating palette. Sure to please every foodie looking for a delightful experience.
