The place isn't a bad place to reside. Amanda is a superstar. Runs a good ship. Homer, the maintenance man does a good job staying on top of any issues that arise. Lawn care service needs to be replaced. Rent is fair in my opinion and parking is never an issue. Neighbors are nice. Thank You Amanda and Homer. Lawn care service has been replaced, Breezeways are clean, Lawn is manicured, bushes are trimmed, parking lot clean. Great Job.

The only good thing about this place now is Amanda the manager. She is super nice and helpful. We've been living here for 3 years and since morgado investments has taken over it has went down hill so fast. They stopped paying they guy to blow out the breeze way so there is always junk and trash. Pizza boxes and beer cans and bottles on the stairs. Trash is tucked in between the stairs and the walls. Cobb webs and dead bugs all over the place. We liked the people when we first moved here. Everyone was nice and friendly and we had no problems. Some of the people who live here now have friends who come over and park in the front of our building. So my husband and I have had to park around back and carry our infant child up 3 flights of stairs instead of getting to park in the front of our apartment building. Young kids making noise and doing whatever they please at night. The inside of our apartment wasn't as great as we thought. Turns out the rod in the bathroom was not even attached to a stud because it just fell off the wall. They had to come back in and repaint certain places and the walls still have stains from the people who lived here before us. The ceiling wasn't fully painted you can see where they just touched it up and the paints aren't even the same color. We had to have the tack strip redone 2xs since we been here. Patches the walls and didn't flatten it out in the living room and the bedroom. When we first got here is was okay because the rent wasn't bad and we had a decent size space. Now the price of rent has gone up to $600 for a one bed room apartment and there is no pool, no gym, they have the so called club house but that's just the building the office manager is in and you can rent it. There is a play ground and a grill and guess where the grill is at? Not near the playground. It's all the way out back. Who wants to have a cook out on that tiny grill and you can't even been with your friends and watch the kids. Like I said before Amanda is super nice and this place was good for us at the time. I hope it gets better and they have some better people come in and fix this place up once we leave here soon.

The complex is listed as luxury. There is nothing luxury about it. They state we have a clubhouse. I think they need to look up the definition of what a clubhouse is. They will find it to be defined as the following: "A community centre, a public location where community members gather for group activities, social support, public information, and other purposes." No activities exist. If you go to other complexes you will see what a real clubhouse is. Since Morgado Investments took over the property it has gone downhill fast. The maintenance of the property is horrible. The landscapers they now have should be fired. When they cut the bushes around the complex they left the trimmings on the ground. After numerous complaints they have yet to be disposed of them completely. The playground area continually has weeds, cigarette butts are continually around the property, and dog poop is not picked up, along with other litter. They don't exterminate the entire complex at once which makes no sense, as the problems move from one part of the property to other areas of the property. They are now only mowing once a month. You can't do that here in NC. We have bugs and snakes already here that will become a bigger problem then what already exists. They find the person who will do things for the least amount of money and they do a crappy job. They need to hire professional people that know what they are doing. The only reason why certain sections of the property look good is because of a couple of residents who have taken it upon themselves to do something since the owner of the complex clearly doesn't care. The people they hire to power wash the building are a joke to. They do a horrible job and don't do the whole building even though we are told they do. I personally have been here during that time and they don’t. They are claiming the place is newly renovated. That is an outright lie. When they replace interior fixtures they are not replaced with what we originally had. They are replaced with crappy fixtures, so nothing will be the same throughout your apartment. The rent is high for the area too. Where they come up with the fair market value is beyond me. It is not accurate. They can't base it on the Chapel Hill area or other surroundings towns. Siler City is not an upscale community by any means. The following is on the homepage: "The historic community of Siler City is known for its friendly people, prosperous business environment and easy living," (This is not true. It is not easy living here. Most people are making minimum wage or around the $10.00 an hour mark.) "the home of Jordan Lake which attracts fishing, boating and camping enthusiasts." (Go live in Chapel Hill. It is a great community and you can actually get a luxury apartment). "A community that maintains its "southern" charm, wooded landscape, and green pastures of its early days." (Not at Stonecrest. We listen to gun shots both during the day and night, cars have been damaged here in different ways, packages have been stolen from our doorsteps, we have had people having sex in the back parking lot in their cars and condoms that have been present along with many other things that should not be taking place here. As soon as I can leave here, I will.) The list is endless. If these things don't matter to you this is the ideal place to live. If they do matter, don't come here. It is clear Morgado Investments does not care about the residents just lining their pockets with money.

I believe they are accepting applications right now. We have had a lot of people move out, but I am unable to confirm if there is a wait list. So I would just come down and talk to the property manager. She is very kind and will help with anything you need.
