5 stars for reception and nurses. 2 stars for physician on site this morning 7/28/2022. She has no social skills and her professional skills are lacking. I will be seeking a 2nd opinion on a foot injury. It was like talking to a wall.

I do not have a single positive thing to say about this urgent care or UCLA Health in general. If a negative star review was possible that is what I would give them. Not only was the care rushed and you are made to feel like an inconvenience for showing up there at all, but the billing of this place is nothing short of a scam. They claim to be in network, yet nothing is covered by insurance and they will charge a small fortune for you to receive any kind of care at all. It has been almost four months since my visit there and I am still being accused of not paying my bills (which were paid months prior and were exorbitant to begin with) and UCLA refuse to accept any proof of payment I provide them with. Absolutely unbelievable and the worst experience I have ever had with anything in the healthcare system.

The staff here are extremely professional and helpful - I received quality care. I am writing with a critique of the UCLA Health system that I urge others to read if you are seeking urgent care and hoping to have your health insurance cover it under the guise of a urgent care copay charge. **I am not an expert on healthcare or insurance billing but want to share this experience to help others if I can, this is not medical or legal advice.** This facility is called “IMMEDIATE CARE” but it will NOT bill to insurance as Immediate Care. A very courteous person in the billing department explained to me that this facility is only set up to bill as Office Visit. I have lost hours on the phone with my insurance company trying to work through this bizarre situation. She did concede that there is no way I, as the patient, could have ever known this ahead of time and admitted that it was confusing and not logical. Again, great, professional staff, but this billing designation is extremely deceiving. Buyer beware - this bureaucratic detail has made my bill cost 10x what an urgent care would have.

I would never recommend this urgent care to anyone. It’s dirty, disorganized, and the staff (from front desk to nurses to doctors) seem as if they’ve never treated patients before. In a city with countless urgent cares, this is definitely at the bottom of the list. While UCLA is typically known for great care, it seems they put their least experienced staff at this location. This location should be shut down or at least staffed with knowledgeable professionals and thoroughly cleaned/sanitized. Despite my terrible experience at this particular UCLA urgent care, I would still go to other UCLA care centers or hospital if needed.
