This office is great. All the staff is great. They still in force covid 19 rules so most ware a mask. The other great thing is that they have a free phones & tablets in front of the office for people that are low income. That have medical ebt ssi etc. Go see Lilly or amary. They are great 👍

I never been so annoyed. Call in a month ago and a guy told us that our medi-cal didn’t get terminated but was not activated by the state of California or something to that effect. We went in their office to see what was up with our case. Since they never got back to us and they wouldn’t answer the phone. Waited over a hour. Our case worker didn’t even let us speak and talked over us when we tried to explain what we knew. Called in to check a couple of times only to be told to call again later. According to our case worker NOPE. Apparently our medi-cal was terminated (THERE WAS NO LETTER OR NOTICE GIVEN since March 2021 kinda seems illegal) I tried to explain that only to be spoken over saying we need to reapply again and needed to get a referral form from North Los Angeles Regional Center. She was just plain rude. At this point just give us a termination letter so we can just buy coverage through Covered California. This wasn’t worth the hassle nor the headache. It’s a very good program for low income people, but the staff just make it a frustrating and over all just a horrible experience.

The workers and security are Absolutely 💯 the best! From the moment I walked through security to talking to someone, was treated with respect and such kindness 😊 thank you very much!

Call the toll free number 866-613-3777. Dept of Social Services has extended phone hours. Mon-Fri 7:00-7:30 p.m., Sat 9:00-4:30. I called them on Sat and waited awhile, but they answered all my questions. Be patient and do other business while you're waiting on the phone. Customer service agents will answer your questions.
