Had so much fun. Super upbeat .they have got tons of things going on in every room. Lots and lots of activity options, like a CARD room and a BINGO room. I played bingo. I almost won 1 of the games. For the bingo they offer an EARLY BIRD round .I was late so I just bought the regular available buy in that COSTS $11. That included enough games that I gave the rest of mine to another lady because I ended up needing to leave after about an hour.They have a VERY GOOD SNACK AREA in there with treats soda waters chips and huge beef hotdogs all items were PRICED LOW and TASTED FRESH.Everyone was really sweet and extremely friendly and helpful. They all made us feel more than welcome . it was awesome.TOTALLY RECOMMEND. IT ROCKED!!!!

My mom and I visited this location because MANY MANY years, a little over a century ago, my Grandfather built it. It was unbelievable for her, an weird but proud to see a complete house that my Grandfather had built from scratch with his own hands.

This is a senior center. It's very nice inside and clean. Lot's of activities for you. I recommend this place. Also lot's of parking accessible handicap ramps sliding doors are wide. They also have free hot lunch. Yum

So sad to hear that, yes we definitely have people here to help though they aren't "Financial Advisors" per se. If you would like to make an appointment (in person or over the phone) please give our Welcome Desk a call at 951-351-8800. Our Senior Advisor provides one-on-one help navigating complicated situations. She can also provide a financial wellness assessment and action plan (if needed) to get things moving in a better direction. We can also connect you with our wonderful network of community partners if you require additional support/resources/expertise. If this is an urgent legal matter, we do have an Attorney that offers free 30 min consultations that might be able to provide some advice/direction.
Yes, we have a treadmills (and other gym equipment) available for use when exercise classes are not in session.
No. JGC does not have a pool. The water exercise classes are done at a nearby apartment complex pool.

Hi Sherri, Our deepest condolences. We would love to have you join us at "The Center" whenever you are ready. We have several patrons who began attending under similar circumstances as yourself. Our activities are open to anyone aged 50+ (Bingo is open to age 18+) and many of them are free. We also have a bereavement/grief support group that may be of interest. It meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of every month at 8:30am. We look forward to seeing you here soon!
No not on the premises. I believe they either use a pool at RCC or they use the pool in the apt. housing unit next door to them. I'm not sure you'd have to call the center to find out
We do not have homeless services on-site but we do help connect people with local resources (such as showers, laundry, etc.). Anyone who needs assistance can reach out to our Senior Services & Resource Manager or Senior Advisor.
