During Covid things got very difficult around our household. And if it were not for this organization I'm not really sure life would have been the same. For those people volunteering at this organization thank you very much. For those people donating to this Organization thank you very much. And for those of you utilizing its services have no shame we all go through hard times. That's why I'm leaving this review is to let people know who might be reading do not be too proud to reach out for help. This organization makes it very easy to get the help you need during difficult times. God bless everybody involved with this organization.

Hand feeding America Riverside it used to be called food Riverside Food Bank couple of taking change to another name to butt they really cleaned up the place it's really nice facilities always clean proper nothing out of place I haven't been able to shop there yet just checked it out walkthrough didn't walk to the Sea can I get some more certification and qualify for the nonprofit and I'll be shopping there for sure my wife work there for 16 years so I know the place in and out but God it's it was a mess back then it's really nice now there's a 110% Improvement good going Sam the guy that works like thinking he's working Sam is one of the best employees they have Jessica up in the front office she knows her s*** and she takes care of business paper wise so like I said they got the people in charge of doing the right things now and making the right changes that needs to be changed and got rid of the theft of the employees that was stealing got fired great job at that kudos to whoever got rid of them thieves I hope you prosecuted some of them low life non-christians well anyways I'm babbling on but can't stop talking about how great feeding America Riverside is now the facilities clean awesome I've been in hospitals that weren't that clean no s*** or no sorry about that yeah but anyways good going keep up the good work Sam

Friendly caring helpful but felt like another poor person who needs to help themselves instead of getting free food to help us out. Wasn't said but the vibe. Asked questions but short answers. And was in a hurry for us to leave. Its hard to ask for help but to be made to feel like that wasn't nice and my husband has a job but work can slow down.

Hi Tammy, If you are in immediate need of food, please stop by Monday- Friday from 8am-3pm so we can provide you with a no-cost emergency food box. You do not need to show proof of income, just bring an I.D. with you. Our selection is limited, but we would be happy to provide you with information on charity partners in the immediate region that can provide you with food on a more regular basis. That. Is a blessed feeling to do The church I attended Lake Hills Chrstian Center does every Friday at 5pm the address is 12550 Indiana Ave Riverside Ca 92503 They can always use volunteers. Beside giving food they also give a warm meal.
Well I don't know about it not giving out to the public,then who is feeding America? Isn't it the public? I just left the one in Riverside on Jefferson they were closed yet the girl still served me , She was very nice she put together plenty of food very clean place didn't need no I.d. nothing to fill out just walked in the best place I been to sad to say it's once a year you can go here , She did say they have food banks they distribute to you can go get food and they give good food even laundry soap .
Hi Kaylea, Yes! We do take high school volunteers. Please keep in mind that if you are a minor, a guardian must be present for the duration of the volunteer shift.
They open at 8 am. They receive any and all donated items of food. Even if uou you grow fruit and vegetables they will receive them. God bless you for your generosity.

Generally, we serve the local charities that supply food to their communities, but if anyone from the public is in need of food, they can stop by Monday-Friday from 8am-3pm for an emergency food bag. When you visit, we can also work with you to find a more regular source of food in your immediate community.
That's a good question it's easy all you have to do is go up to the desk and ask when you can volunteer they give you the time to dates and you'll be able to volunteer for any occasion now if you are a minor that needs volunteer hours then you will have to be accompanied by an adult

An individual can receive an emergency bag of food during business hours. They do not require any type of ID or proof of residency.
211 can help or ask a friend for a ride. Unfortunately food banks and food pantries don't deliver. I know I don't have a car either. My husband rides his bike to some local places. Sorry can't help more. I hope you find a way.
Hi Caitlyn, Our minimum age requirement is 12 years old. Volunteers 12 and older will need to be accompanied by an adult until they are 18 years old.
