Would not recommend if you care about customer service or fair dealing. I had a brief and uncomfortable experience at the shop today. The gentleman at the counter was reluctant to buzz me into the shop. He was strangely hostile then, upon weighing my gold, offered me half of the current price per gram. I said thank you and left.

Great place for Fathers Day gifts! My parents had left old coins for each of us offspring so we could pass them down to our kids. Having no kids of my own I decided to give them to my brother to share with his grandkids. I needed their value to insure them so I took them to Wilshire coins for the estimate. They were welcoming and considerate and when I asked how much the fee was for the estimate they said merry Christmas and asked for an honest review in return. Amazing store and great customer service!

Depends on the coin. Some are a small percentage above the silver value....more collectible are priced appropriately albeit lower than retail. Yes. I believe sales tax applies...but you should call.

Unfortunately in any coin shop you must ALWAYS be aware of your money...once you leave without properly checking this is on you...i never had this problem but do notice they are a bit higher on metal exchanges but every coin shop has there on was of working..i do like a coin shop in Agoura called " gold coast coin "my father and I have been going to Tom for over 40 years and never had a problem...but i never had a problem with Wilshire coin....good luck
