Amazing falls and trail. There is a very very easy access to the falls right across it but for some reason it was closed when I visited. So we took a 0.8mil hike to reach it. After crossing the most half of hike we realized we just met the road that was there all along with easy access πŸ˜€ but this place is a must visit and the town is amazing too.

Another great waterfall!!! The stairs are alot so if you are out of shape be prepared!!!! You can get up close to waterfall, definitely great photo ops!!! Osceola has lots of great restraunts and little bars!!! Mosquitoes are bad down by falls and along the paths in summer!!! Be prepared with bug spray!!!

It was quite a hike up and down and up and down, but worth it. The stairs have been closed, but they have an alternate route map. Cross the street and behind the BP, the trail to the falls begins. Follow Eagle Bluff Trail. There are some steep parts, but if you’re in decent shape and have decent balance, you’ll do great. My husband and stepdaughter are afraid of heights and were scared at a couple parts, but they did it. It was hot when we went and the waterfall was really refreshing. Since the stairs are closed, there’s less people down there. So, that’s a plus. :)

As a local in the area i was saddened to learn that the city of Osceola will not pay, nor help pay to fix the stairs leading to the falls. Since apparently there are 6 businesses that the city says technically all own a piece of it all, it is sad to hear that even some of them will not help contribute to fixing these stairs. Tourism brings them tons of business, but now they are all hurting. This is a huge tourism attraction and alot of people can not visit it the way they should be able too. Reasons like this is why small towns fade out.....

Where's the best place to RV canp near the falls

Wisconsin Interstate State Park, about 8 miles north, near St. Croix Falls.

Difficulty sounds mixed. Looks like a lot of stairs and elevation, but how are the trails? Are they groomed outside of the boardwalk? Is eagle bluff a trail or more of a climb?

Patrick Austinson | Sep 18, 2020
Christopher Rizzo | Sep 19, 2020

Well it's a mixture of stairs and Hill climbs...and not much grooming!!
