Nice dogpark. A few trees, no gras s, just sandy. Tables and some chairs to sit at. Dog water station didnt work, so bring your own water for your pup! Neighborhood felt a little sketchy with the liquor store next door to park, but there was a really nice looking playground across the street for humans.

It's a nice park, and the numerous poop bag stations are a great touch. Unfortunately, it appears a lot of people still don't pick up after their pets, because there must have been close to 20 piles this (Sunday) morning. Also several cigarette butts on the ground by the front. This place could be great if attendees were more diligent or the city could have someone come by and help out (preferably both), but until then, it's a mixed bag.

Large areas for both small and large dogs that are separated. Some obstacles and balls to play with as well as water for the pups. Not super busy even on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty nice, but it's all gravel and my pup prefers grass.

nice little spot. it can get to be a bit too much for my pup during peak hours, but off hours are great. she’s got tons of space to run around, and the agility stuff has been pretty fun for us since she’s too smart for her own good sometimes. I do wish the slalom-type poles would be repaired, though. Not even just to use, but also because the leftover little nubs and pieces don’t seem exactly safe.

Questions & Answers

Why are the water pumps not working on either side of the park? Hasn't been since winter at least and it is June.

Bring your own water! Everyone does, if your dog is thirsty--your fault

The gate that separates the big dogs from the little dogs was never installed properly and despite many requests, has not been fixed. One small dog owner wired the gate shut and plans to padlock and chain it if closed if they won't fix it.

The city will cut off the lock as they use that gate to access both sides of park with a vehicle while performing maintenance. I would advise against anyone installing a lock on their own as it would be a waste of time and money. It may also result in legal trouble. The dog park is a privilege, not a right.
