I’ve been a member here for about 4 months and overall I think it’s a good gym for what you pay for. The equipment is mostly in good shape. I don’t think management is as timely as they should be with repairs on machines and equipment that need attention. That’s fine for the 2 out of 30 treadmills, less fine for the 1 of 2 pull up machines that is currently broken. Like most big box gyms, they have a lot of cardio equipment. However, they do have an incredible amount of strength training and weight equipment, which is why I joined. Unfortunately with recent renovations and layout changes, they went from 8 squat racks and 4 deadlift platforms down to 6 racks and 2 platforms, which has caused some problems. If you come here during peak hours, you should expect to have to wait a bit for those at the moment. I was told that it was a “corporate” decision to change things. The music they play isn’t too loud (compared to other gyms in the area), the staff is friendly, and the locker rooms are decent (but could use more cleaning). People who complain about it being too busy need to get a grip. Good luck to those people who join a big box gym in the suburbs, pay $10-25 a month, and expect it to not be a popular spot 😂

A bad Gym. If you're thinking about signing up, they charge a 'rate locking fee' which you can't opt out of, I asked. Because of that fee, you get charged roughly $50 annually on top of whichever tier you choose. There's also a cancellation fee, because of course there is. My roommate was not made aware of the rate locking fee and had an unpleasant surprise for something that seems like it should be completely optional. I recommend you choose the lowest tier as well, there's zero enforcement on which tier you have once you're in the door. I have the mid tier so I can use the pool, but have never once been asked or checked on to use the pool. Don't expect a clean environment & weights to be evenly spaced throughout the gym either. There's mold on the wall of the pool that I've emailed about months ago that's still there. The steam room is frequently broken, and the sauna as well. This gym seems like every other chain. A money grab with little care once you're signed up. The staff are friendly enough.

I have been to planet fitness and it’s alright. Decided to give VASA a try. Much better equipment variety here at VASA. The sauna is an amazing amenity. The other amenities are wonderful as well. Staff are nice and friendly... Overall, way better than Planet Fitness (and cheaper).

So far so good. The gym equipment is very well maintained and safe unlike a previous gym I left. They could probably benefit from taking better care of the bathrooms as some days the showers can smell a little bit swampy and one toilet always seems to be clogged (four star) Edit: The restrooms have been pristine lately so five star
