The Rocky Mountain Greenway is an unsafe set of mountain biking trails as they are located at the former U.S. Nuclear Weapons plant, Rocky Flats. By going here for any amount of time, you will be exposing yourself to plutonium, which has long lasting health effects, including an increased risk for cancer. The Department of Energy never fully cleaned up the site, and so recreating at Rocky Flats at any capacity puts you at risk to have plutonium particles lodged in your lungs. If you still feel compelled to go to Rocky Flats, I encourage you to do your own research before officially deciding to go. Stay safe out there!

This was a really great Wok walk. But the city ought to or the county ought to plant wildflowers that are indigenous to the area in portions where the ground has been beaten down by too much foot traffic

Nice quiet trail so close to home. Great place to bring the dogs and get your walk, hike and workout on!

Love this place. My favorite place to go hike with Apollo when I’m visiting my son in Lakewood.
