Good shopping experience as far as Walmart goes. The cashiers were friendly, the store was huge and there was several self checkouts. Product wise it was very abundant and varied. Overall good experience

Horrible customer service. I bought an airbed and it was too big. Only wanted an exchange for a smaller one. The Manager on June 1 at 7am told me I could only exchange it for one of greater value. Fail. I had my receipt and did not want any money back.

After speaking with the manager about a disrespectful and confrontational employee named Denise I want to warn others about her. Since they seem to not really care about her horrible attitude. After she told me about a new self checkout rule of 20 items or less I went and put back my 5 extra items because I was in a hurry and they never have enough cashiers open. I counted all of the items in my cart to make sure I had exactly 20 items. She grabbed my cart and said I already told you it’s 20 items or less. I explained to her I have 20 items if you don’t believe me you can count them. She further argued with me and said I don’t need to I can’t tell you have more by looking at the cart. She then gets the security little security guard she was flirting to watch her argue with me. I insist I have 20 items and she tells me I don’t like your attitude. I told her I wasn’t going to get to her level and keep arguing about the 20 items I was trying to pay for with my money so I asked for her manager and she got upset. After wasting my time I explained the situation to the manager she listened and stated she would talk to her which I doubt. Because of Denise I left her with my 20 items she did not want me to purchase. Instead I will gladly drive to target tomorrow and buy my items there. since I never have bad experiences and the targets in victorville. I also heard a couple tell an employee about having to wait for them to unlock the medicine cabinets for over 45 minutes. If employees like Denise hate their job they need to go find another one or instead of flirting with other employees they should better their customer service skills.

This Walmart Supercenter in Barstow, CA is moderately clean and spacious as Walmart supercenters go. Easy in and out access to the store. There are many EV charging terminals provided. There are additional businesses present, i.e a Verizon store.

I have been seeing alot of rude employees there and over the phone. I recently called to see if they had a certain item in stock and was rudely answered and hung up on before I could possibly get any other information as to what stores may have it. The woman hung up and when I called back I asked why they hung up while I was still speaking and she said "oh I don't know maybe because I was too busy!?!?!?" WOW NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!! WILL DO MY BEST NOT TO SHOP THERE ANYMORE
I am at this Walmart twice a week at least. Why so much? I can only walk so far and cannot walk aisle by aisle. There is NEVER a power chair available and if my count is correct they have 6 power carts. I agree that stock is never on the shelf and have had to wait almost 40 minutes for a key carrier to come unlock .99 shaving cream only to be told it can be picked up at reg 8. The only line they have open. I will not stand 15-20 minutes in line for that. I finally have got it to where I can pick up my under-lock items at the self-check out but I have heard many employees who are on the floor working complain about the job and management. Very disappointed with the service at Walmart here in Barstow.

So true. Again just try to find an employee to help us disabled seniors lift heavy objects. But! That's not the employees fault for such under staffing; management needs to own up to their stores being so poorly staffed. And the under staffing beings with corporate

Yes there's a separate entrance for rigs .. if your coming off the freeway go past armory Rd ,(it will look like your passing Walmart for a sec an then you'll see the rear entrance for trucks that are overnight parking.

Every car has different weights of oil. Your car might have needed say 5w20 and they were out of that weight. The other customers car might have needed 0w40 or 10w30. Each and every car model takes a certain weight. If the car is under warranty Walmart must use that weight or it will violate the engine and car warranty. The other car/truck probably just needed a different weight that they still had in stock. I was a shop manager and have done thousands of oil changes and I have never just put in any oil. I always check the oil cap for the weight first, then ask what type of oil the customer want. The have conventional, hi milage and synthetic oil. And several weights of each, plus all the oils inside..
Wow i thought that Walmart was immaculate it look gorgeous it didn't look dirty at all the bathrooms look good the floors look good the shelves look good spend a little bit of time in there. Your standards maybe too high

Well first of all, they dont just close when ever they feel like it. People need restroom and rest breaks. Staffing overhead and employees calling in have their effects. Perhaps you might consider other reasons such as a slow day and management feeling the staff would be more useful covering breaks etc. These are people just trying to survive under coorperate rule. As a former employee, these people are tired also and quite often just want to go home to their families.Granted staff needs to work on attitude being its not the customers fault. Since you do have the receipt they should give you cash back. It shouldn't matter which Wal-Mart you bought it at. I hope this is helpful.
Credit card accounts have to be closed with Synchrony Bank. It will mess up your credit score. Please ask for advice before closing unless you don't have to worry about your credit score.
It is not conclusive yet but I have been told that eventually the parking at the old Walmart will be available to use somewhere down the road. My own personal opinion is that they're going to have to because the existing parking is way too small for such a big Walmart and I also think it could have been designed a little bit better.
