The worst ever. My hold time was 45 min for an extremely important prescription my father was driving 50 minutes for very sick. The woman who answered acted like she didn’t speak to me 3 hours previous. Then she quickly put me on hold. 30 min later I hang up and call back. Waited another 15 on hold as she doesn’t wait to hear a response. Then I did it again and tried to say no I can’t hold.she put me on hold again. The woman should not even have a job. She is horrible at her job and some people need those prescriptions badly.

I had a very horrible experience at this location. When we had first walked in, I had let the manager and the front cashier know, that we had not used Western Union in awhile, and how we would we go about the process. All they informed me was to call WesternUnion which I did. Through both phone and online app, both had informed me that all was needed was a MTCN 10 debit number and a valid ID. I had tried to ask the front cashier what was needed because there’s nothing else on my end to do. There was no temporary 8 digit number that was given online or over the phone. She relentlessly wanted to help, while unprofessionally, she was trying to laugh and make jokes with the customers about us. I had told them repeatedly this is all the information that was given and from the company WesternUnion itself claimed all we needed was the MTCN number. I don’t appreciate being treated less than a person due to looking so young. I had asked to speak to a manager (which was the same manager from the beginning) I tried to explain to her the same issue we were having and at first she was trying to help and said that they need a 8 digit number, I said okay what do we do if we can’t get the 8 digit number. I had then complained to her about her employee being very rude and unprofessional, she said “well 7 other people did it since 1pm, so I don’t know what to tell you.” I thought that was very rude and I no longer tolerated their behavior. I had walk out, claiming that their attitude is not appreciated, not everyone is from Barstow to be treated with such disrespect. Employees should treat every customer with values and respect, doesn’t matter how old they are or look.

I'm being generous with 1 star. They do not answer their phone when you call it clicks back to recording I hit the "speak to a pharmacy associate" 18 times and finally hung up. Next day I spoke to a pharmacy tech that was RUDE! He told me to hold fir a pharmacist and kept coming back to say to still wait. I was on hold for 1 hour & 40 minutes. I drove over , still on hold, and asked to speak w pharmacist since he never picked up for me. He had NO CLUE I was on hold for him, tech never told him I was waiting. I understand that state laws tie their hands on controlled meds but if they would atleast answer the phone and communicate it would take a bit of the frustration away. Pharmacist has YELLED at me stating my husband needed psychological help. Ummm if he could get his meds he wouldbegreat. When you are in pain, you become an altered personality.

I have become long suffering with the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Barstow California because they are close to my home and the convenience outweighs the employee incompetence. Rarely have I been in the drive thru pharmacy line and received all my prescriptions as ordered. A typical medication refill for 3 prescriptions with require at least two trips to the pharmacy, this is of course after the automated phone call tells me my prescriptions are ready for pick up. The automated phone call is wildly inaccurate and the employees are incompetent and rude. Don't take my word for it, just look at Yelp to get an idea on how bad this place is!

Because they are slighty different than store and have differnt hours. I think theres are 9a- 9pm,not totally sure if in correct.
No they don't have Money Gram they have Western Union. Wal-Mart carries Money Gram.
