Never had a bug problem but all the plumbing issues is a different story. Neighbors stomping around above us all hours of the night. Yes it is affordable and clean for the most part. Never got the deposit back after moving out. Pets are not allowed

I have lived here for five months and have never been happier with an apartment complex. It is old but beautifully maintained, quiet, safe and, if I may, just as funky/cool as all get out. I love the town house style, the upstairs balconies (that remind me of old New York style tenement houses with fire escapes) and the general atmosphere, which is laid back and cool. Parking is generous. Maintenance is prompt and friendly. Suzie is a wonderful manager but take note: Pay your rent ON TIME. It is, after all, a business. I have NO complaints about Sunwood and plan to be here for a very long time. OH! Everything you want and/or need is close by. Shopping of every variety, great fast food and sit-down restaurants, a Quik Trip just South and a Kum and Go just North. There is a nice little bar within staggering distance, a Warehouse Market (almost) across the street and Walmart Neighborhood Market around the corner at 21st & Yale. Wanna know more? Just ask!

Sunwood is a hidden gem with all the basics conveniently located in Mid town with close highway access. The units are quiet and well maintained. The management and care of this complex is exemplary and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a basic place to live for a fair price to consider living here. My stay was one year from Dec 1st 2012 to 2013.
