The selection and friendly service at this location make it a must visit. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Every visit I notice new and unique pets that I don't see at other shops.

Love this place. Plants and succulents as you first walk in. They take really good care of their pets. Prices are reasonable. Great service! Got a new member of the family, an adult guinea pig and super worms. The pig is healthy even his nails are trimmed. The super worms are great, none dead and the container had good for them in it as a standard. Easy location to find.

The owner and staff here are true reptile people. Best in vallejo for reptiles. And another awesome fact is they sell pinhead crickets which are unavailable everwhere else in the area. I return to the shop every week and will continue

My family is taking care of a class pet (box turtle). The enclosure for her needed to be replaced and we needed fresh substrate. Did an internet search and found this place. Talked to them on the phone and decided to go check it out. Both of the Pet Shoppe employees were great! Customer service was amazing, even when they started to get busy, they excited themselves renewed to other customers and came back to us. They took their time with us and we never felt rushed. We really felt cared for. Very knowledgeable. Ended up spending quite a bit of time there. Got all of our questions answered. We got all of the equipment needed for our class box turtle which seemed much happier with her new set up. We learned about how they put on animal education workshops for the local school. And how they take on youth volunteers to help and learn more about how to take care of animals that they are interested in. We will be coming back and getting our pet supplies and maybe our next pet from the Pet Shoppe. We totally recommend this place!

They do have them. last time i was there they did. also had a long hair guinea pig. Looked like he had a mohawk lol
You should call the store directly for the answer to this. Cages come in different sizes, and there are different kinds of bedding as well. A single rat will depend on size. I do not believe this store places a premium on female or male.

I was there a few days ago and they did have a full-grown parrot, I'm sure if you get ahold of the owner he's super nice he can give you more info and probably get you what you need 🐦.

No they don't. All I've seen lately is a couple of cockatoos and a couple other small birds. You'd be better off going to a breeder or going to a bird show

I would say that should be done with proper research before you even get a pet. Example: dont like regularly maintaining something other than yourself. Dont get a pet. Also if you aren't the best owner.... why trade for a different pet? Best answer here. Just do your research and maybe not get anything high maintenance. So hermit crab, or chia pet seem reasonable. As far as returns/trades. Id call them or stop by if you already have a pet from there.

Monica I would just go in there when you got time and get it done there's usually someone on staff that can take care of that for you. They've done it for our bird before, and they do their own birth also so I'm sure they'll take good care of you.

No, you would have to ask the boss to order one if we can and do a down payment, we don't carry big birds like that
