I had a 9:30 AM appointment and the office is not open. Not a single employee is on site. The door is closed and there have been numerous people with appointments waiting outside who have left at this point. When I tried to call the office, the number rings busy/unavailable. Why weren’t customers notified of an office closure? This is extremely frustrating. I could have been at work today.

Did you go to SSA off ICE w/death certificate divorce papers and marriage license for both marriage dates? Make copies of all documents b4 going to office. Take tax returns utility bills showing where you both lived together. Stay calm and never get angry.

There's several factors that could have been the cause! I suggest communicating with Social Security! It could sometimes as simple as a signature or a missed appointment! Always review your mail and routinely update your address and phone number! Has your household changed at all? These are some of the common errors that can easily be fixed! Remember that it all starts with you!
The first thing I would do is report it to the three credit bureaus and then go to the social security office and apply for a new SSC dont forget to report it to the social security administration too when you apply for the new card

I haven't received my SSA Benfits on December 3rd and they still ain't put on my direct express card. I've been back and forth also called them and I still haven't received it yet....
