This is may be the second or third time I've stopped here after work. The elderly lady that's always behind the counter is nice and things are pretty easy to find..but I won't be back after today. I wanted to try the multi grain mix they carry and ended up having to toss the entire bag less than 5 minutes after cutting it open...because there were bugs (grubs? worms?) trying to make their way out of the mix after I dumped it in to a storage container. Come to find out, there are holes in the bag AND dead bug carcasses in the folds of the bag it self..see the photos accompanying this review. Super bummed I threw away $10 too. :( I recommend thoroughly checking your food items from here (maybe even the expiration date as well?) as I also saw frozen dumplings with small holes in the bag. (Yes, I know...I should've checked the grains before buying them after seeing this) Will be sticking to Grace Korean Market from now on.

My korean mom goes here for all her korean cooking needs. She makes the best kimchi. But if she has to buy kimchi, then this place is the only place she will buy kimchi from. She says the lady that makes it does here does a very good job, it's fresh and has plenty available. It's not chinese kimchi...yuk!

I found everything I was looking for today to ferment my first ever batch of kimchi. The (assumed) owner was enjoyable to talk to and even gave me a few tips for my experiment. I’ll definitely be back to restock, or to share the experience with a friend. Great Korean selection!

The owner is always super friendly. She makes the best squid kimchi other kimchi dishes are good too. She used to make great bibimbap but she can't make them anymore, which is too bad. We come here for homemade Korean side dishes.
