i only rate two because of the two RNs that actually helped me to fix my issue. however, if it wasn’t for them it’d be a 0/5. the receptionist woman with grey hair was extremely rude and chaotic. she caused a commotion all because SHE was unaware of her workplaces rules and also because she wasn’t paying attention and more than two people came in for one patient. she should have been paying attention and reminded them as soon as she saw them. furthermore, the charge nurse megan was even more problematic. she yelled at the guests of the patients who were there because their nephew/son was in crisis. rather than offering for them to sit in the main lobby of the other hospital instead of waiting inside theirs (since there’s a 2 person limit) she just threatened to call security! this was very unprofessional and honestly made me, a bystander, feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. the way that these nurses handled this situation was not respectful or compassionate to the situation the patients were in. As a nurse it’s your responsibility and job to be kind and understanding in order to create an environment where your patients feel they can trust their love ones with their life. frankly, i do not trust these nurses or this establishment and was sad to see them be treated this way. i hope that you speak to these nurses and explain why they should not act this way and the weight their actions could potentially have on a confused, and worried patient or loved one.

4 hrs to get an X-ray and ankle wrapped for a sprained ankle. ER was very busy . Some who were really sick had been there a lot longer then we were but the staff were all very nice. We would have just gone to immediate care but since Covid you have to call in the morning to get an appointment for the afternoon. I just don’t understand. That’s not immediate care. Who wakes up in the morning and says oh I know I am going to get hurt I better call and get an appointment? I wish immediate care would go back to the way it was intended to be.

Took my son in on Sunday for a head injury and felt like it was not treated as a priority. The girl at the desk just kept telling us that the doctor and nurse already seen him(she was referring to 2 triage nurses who only came out to wrap his head because he was bleeding so bad) Waited over an hour before we even seen a PA. From reading other reviews sounds like they need work on prioritizing emergencies when they come through the doors. Horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend taking a loved one there!

Horrible experience yesterday, nurse was completely unethical, she was disgusting, drooping bandaids on the floor and still using them in the patient, ripped her gloves and never changed them for care, left the mess from her gloves on the bed, the patients states they forgot to mention a symptom, the nurse cuts us off to say “oh, well you can tell the doctor when they come in” then proceeds to ask what brought us in!!!!!!?????? Are you kidding me!?!? overall rude and just horrible experience, would not recommend and never going back!! Forgot to mention we got there around 9AM and didn’t leave until 2 and they were that busy when we got there, IV tube was placed on the metal frame of the bed collecting germs and thankfully she never put it back on, but even that was concerning as patient needed to finish the IV bag due to dehydration, she brags about being a nurse for 10 years and doesn’t know how to follow cdc protocols, she took the IV out completely incorrectly! Did not remove the tape completely and caused damage to the vein by how she incorrectly removed the IV! Either she needs to be fired or go back to school and retrain!! We mentioned needing a doctors note for work and we were told the doctors note was provided in the discharge papers and when we arrived home guess what? No doctors note, we don’t live close to the ER and ask if we can be faxed the note and they transfer us to that pathetic excuse for a nurse and she claims there was one there insinuating that we are stupid, then proceeds to say, well I can print a new one if you come back to the er department. Horrible experience and not recommended for your loved ones. They couldn’t even switch us nurses.
