Although Lenka, Allysa, Michael, and the entire staff are kind, courteous, and attempt to make The View at Marin a safe environment to live, there are reasons anyone looking for peace, quiet, peace of mind, tranquility, and enjoyment of one’s personal space, the View at Marin is NOT the place for you. All of the positive review post about the View at Marin happen to be misleading. The truth. The place is filled with cognitively oblivious and self centered people. It is noisy 24/7. The walls to each unit are razor thin, leaving no privacy. People run, jump, and stomp up and down the stair cases that adjoin the units. They wake up and have full conversation with their pets in the wake of the night. The parking will tear your vehicle up and if you are handicapped, 2 people use 8 to 10 cars to secure 1 handicapped parking space. The worst is the (CON)service bill. It is a scam utility company the property uses that forces tenants to share the cost of utilities on top of paying a PG&E bill. Nice scenery, however, it is not conducive to peaceful living and the Conservice bill will add to your frustrations.

A great place to stay in the hills of San Rafael. Very quiet and calm with amazing views from the balcony. The maintenance department is really commendable. They will fix your problem within a day every time. Lenka and Micheal are really great to work with. My only complaint would be finding parking for guests who want to stay overnight.

Well-maintained apartments with plenty of appliances and features at a reasonable price (for Marin, at least). A huge fan of the in-unit dishwasher and washer-dryer combo. Fitness center and pool are nice additions as well. Biggest downside is the location, unfortunately. The apartments are located far away from the downtown core of San Rafael and are relatively quiet, but there are no amenities within walking distance. Northgate Mall and Northgate One are relatively close, but getting to them requires crossing very treacherous and busy roads with no crosswalks if going by foot. Not exactly a relaxing neighborhood to take a stroll in. I can't fault management at all for the location of the apartment, but the lack of walkability does detract significantly from the appeal. Another issue is the lack of guest parking. My girlfriend's car was nearly towed here overnight since there is no guest overnight parking. Future tenants would definitely appreciate better accommodations for overnight guests.

I love living at The Eaves and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. The view from my living room is Mt Tam and faces the side of a beautiful hillside where a family of deer like to take their evening walk. The sunsets are amazing and I am surrounded by beautiful trees. The staff in the office are just as amazing as the view. They have gone above and beyond whenever I have needed anything and regularly put on events where you get the opportunity to get to know your neighbors and build that good old fashioned sense of community. I have built some great friendships here and memories around the pool and hot tub during the summer with my family. James is an extraordinary manager as well as Lenka and Javier. They all make a great team and do an amazing job in the office. If you are thinking of moving into The Eaves I highly recommend it!
