Winding scenic road in. Plenty of wide open parking. Very open and accommodating atmosphere. I did a tasting of red wine and their distilled spirits. Phenomenal. The outdoor patio overlooking part of the vineyard is a must. I'll be back.

My wife & I have visited Kiepersol a number of times. We have experienced the tour & history as well as the new tasting hall with the covered porch. We have dining experiences covering weekend breakfast as well as lunch & dinners. We have even experienced an overnight stay. All this is not to brag, but to say that the Kiepersol Experience is why we bring guests and family. The food, attention to detail, courtesy of staff, atmosphere, and story make this place a place to remember. As far a eating goes, start with anything, but I prefer the Duck Cigars. Ask about the history of the gentleman who, at least at my last visit, had cooked each steak I had eaten there. Bananas Foster you say? This one will have you questioning your table manners. Ok, you get the point, just go already. Relax and enjoy!

Enjoyed 2 nights, very relaxing. Restaurant 5 stars, fabulous service & dishes. Distillery is very small, but turns out some delicious options with Texas ingredients. Tour guide delightful. Tasting generous. Vineyards breathtaking. Had one small problem with our B&B room, but it was promptly resolved. A mark of great staff. The private patio with fan was nice, despite hot weather. My only suggestion would be to allow access to the covered patio, pond and gardens outside the restaurant. Perhaps some coffee tables. Thanks Kiepersol!

We drove nearly two and a half hours to visit Kiepersol because we’d heard such lovely things about it and had enjoyed the wine we tried previously. What a massive disappointment. The setting, tucked in a residential area, is charming and the weather was glorious. We ordered two tasting flights and a large cheese board upon arrival. Our flights were ready for us in about ten or so minutes and were delightful overall. We particularly enjoyed the Syrah and Merlot. After 30 minutes waiting on our cheeseboard, I went inside to check. Our ticket was indeed lost and I was informed that it would be made immediately. I went back to our table to wait. After another twenty-ish minutes, still no cheeseboard. This time, my husband went in to check. After an hour of waiting, we had our food, and it was not worth the $31 they charge for it. There was not an attempt to rectify the situation. It was so disappointing. We finished our meal and flights and bought two bottles to take home. I don’t know that I would make the drive again or recommend this winery to others. If you plan a visit to Kiepersol, I hope your experience is better than ours.
