Comfortable enough theater with good sound system and projection, although the larger screen has a tear that has been there for months. Weak selection, mostly because it finds the one arthouse hit that's making money that season and just keeps it there for ~3 months. So great if you want to watch EEAAO 5 Fridays in a row or see the latest Downton Abbey for the 3rd time that month. Nice theater for the retiree crowd, but most cinephiles are better off making the drive to the Angelika in Sac.

Lovely historical theater with two screens features first-run independent and foreign flicks.

Hidden gem. I drive over 20 miles from Carmichael to get to this theater. I like it much better than Tower. It's bigger, cleaner, with friendlier, less pretentious staff and unfortunately less crowded. I wish more people would go here! I don't know how they stay in business. There was just me and a lady who walked out on a Friday night. It's her loss as that movie 'Together' just went on my list of top 10 movies of all time & McAvoy deserves an Oscar for that performance. They always have different, more interesting movies than you can see at your average Century/Regal. Where are the UCD students? They're really missing out.

Definitely the best movie theatre in town for seeing interesting films. The seats are comfortable and the staff are pleasant. If the concession was less expensive I'd be more likely to buy something. I wonder if their pricing model is really optimal for them, but they're still in business so what do I know? They show a lot of movies that would be great for a group to view and then discuss. Highly recommend!
