This company has a contract with Anthem Blue Cross transportation. Most of the drivers are either late or rude. Most of the cars that pick me up was dirty. When calling Anthem Blue Cross for transportation, I do not recommend Yellow Cab have them send another company.

If you need to make an appointment or catch a plane DON'T CALL YELLOW CAB!! I am a taxi only consumer because I want a professional at the wheel! But I can't abide the lack of responsibility & control the Yellow Cab company says they have with there drivers. Over the past couple of phone requests for a Yellow Taxi the driver never showed up. I have missed important doctor appointments because the driver didn't show. Yet the company had no solution or caring for the situation. Here is my story of my last attempted Yellow Cab reservation request. I called yellow and reached the automated reservation system and made my request without problems. After 20 minutes the companies automated notification system announced the arrival of the cab in 4 minutes. I left my apartment to meet the driver that didn't arrive & called them to find out if it was still on it's way the automated system recognized my # & immediately I was again told it was coming in 4 minutes. They gave me the driver's cell # but the driver didn't answer. I waited another 15 minutes then called again only to be routed to the automated reservation system to request a new reservation. When I finally reach a human dispatcher they immediately passed the buck saying.the drivers were independent and the company had no control over them completing a dispatch. That's unbelievable and disrespectful. It's also bad business. How can a consumer ever trust them to honor their commitments to get a passenger to his or her time sensitive appt? No wonder Uber & Lyft are eating up this industry. I suggest strongly to find another cab company if you are a taxi loyalist.

This place is truly unbelievable! A cab was called and the driver just passed by even after being told that I was the one that called for a cab. I was going to get x-rays on my leg at the hospital and now I'm left in a lurch. A friend thinks that it was because the driver thought I was homeless because I was near a tent on the street. Needless to say yellow cab leaves alot to be desired, clearly not friendly and clearly discriminate against people. Sad! Don't use if you are counting on getting somewhere.

Honestly love this service. More reliable than all ride share. Dispatch was quick and always is. Drivers always friendly and helpful. I never get cancelled on and I've never been put in a situation that I was uncomfortable or unsettled. Always yello when in the city

Yes. Cabs are considered an essential service and are therefore exempt from the curfew. However, I doubt that means you as a passenger don't need to have a good reason to be out.

The BART train costs less than $ 10. That's the first transposition of the airport to San Francisco. Then, one can walk to Pier 39 which is 2 miles or use Taxi ($ 9.00) or Uber / Lyft ($ 5.00).
