Great place to turn your recycling into cold hard cash! Expect to wait in line twice, once to have your haul weighed and sorted and once to turn in your claim slip for money, allow at least 45 minutes for this process as lines can be very long and regulars can be a bit on the pushy side as they expect you to know exactly what is going on so if it's your first time go with patience in mind and with time to spare also make sure to wear gloves and a face mask not only for covid precautions but because the place can have a slight odor from all the sugary sweet drinks and the spilled beer and liquor from other bottles everything around the area is sticky so don't wear your good clothes. YOUR RECIEPT NOW SAYS THST YOU MUST COME TO THE CASHIER WITH THE ROUNDUP ON THE AMOUNT YOU MADE IN ORDRR TO RECIEVE ALL OF YOUR CASH EXAMPLE IF YOUR RECYCLING COMES OUT TO $20.59 YOU MUST PRESENT THE CASHIER WITH $0.41 IN ORDER TO RECIEVE YOUR FULL AMOUNT OTHERWISE THEY WILL PRINT A PAPER STATING THAT YOU STILL HSVE $0.59 WAITING FOR YOU AND RECIEVE ONLY $20

They are great. I hope it stays open many many years! They closed other ones in San Francisco but this one is like a main artery. They better keep it open! Also if you presort your recycling for the buyback you can just bring it directly up to dump it on the tray. At least that's what they told us last time with our big presorted load. One tip: because of the coin shortage they only give you the cash not the change. The way you get your change is either a voucher that you keep for later or you give them the difference in coins so they can give you back a whole dollar for it. If you don't have the change right then you just come back anytime with the paper they give you and give them the paper plus the difference and they'll give you the dollar 💸

This review is regarding the male employee that was wearing the shades and had the lip tattoo on his neck (lane 5 12/31/21) . The problem is that when we passed him our bin full of glass bottles he purposely threw back at us and he seemed angry. It didn’t hit us but it nearly landed on my fathers foot and mind you this bin had some glass bottles in it so even this guy struggled to pick it up before he threw it. Apparently we had to mix the green and white glass bottles into one bin but since we didn’t know we chose to separate them prior to showing up to the line to make it easier for employee. We understand it’s New Year’s Eve and the last place he probably wants to be at is at work but he should still have some respect and be safer towards the customers who bring their recycling to this place. However everyone else was great including the cashier and the guy directing traffic in the parking lot

We went on Monday afternoon so it was mot too crowded. It was easy to unload the cans and plastics once we located a parking spot. Your going to interact with all types of people there. Iy tirned out to be our biggest payout of $121.96.!

There's a coin shortage with the Federal Reserve bc of rona.. they should compensate in some way.
Nope.
No, you do not need ID. You need to print your name and sign only
They close at 430 everyday
Even milk bottles. But at scrap plastic price.
Correct they are open but with mask requirement of course. I was there yesterday. Multiple lines to process your recyclables - went pretty quick.
Yep.
I don't work here, but this place and two other places in SF are still open (as far as I know). All of the "RePlanet" locations (different company) have closed.
of course they buy all that
Just cans, plastic bottles, and beer bottles
Kelly Moore, Benjamin Moore, and Sherwin Williams take empty or 5 gallon paints to be recycle.
