What a great surprise. I had no idea that we had a National Park on the Piers in San Francisco. We do, and our annual National Park Pass worked for access to see the amazing examples of masted ships and 1907 tug boats and more.... so cool

Some nice views of the bay and the city from the end of the pier. And a few old ships. People regularly open water swim here, the water is nicely sheltered. And I have seen seals playing in the water here too.

Besides The North Co brewing company is a great place to sit for a drink, then walk down to the water and relax. While I was there kids were making a TicTok video with Alcatraz behind them which was cute Some were swimming which is crazy to me (too cold for swimming) Most just sitting watching the waves come in. Very calming

Accidentally found this park looking for a bathroom which it has. I used my America The Beautiful pass to gain free entry. A hidden gem in the NPS collection. Some neat history here worth a visit. I was only person during my visit.

Yes everything is free. Restaurants charge. Great clam chowder at the second restaurant from the sign. The ship rebuilding is free. To tour the ships is charge. Don't miss the Alcatraz nite tour . It was great and spooky
First part of SF Maritime Pier is free. Second half has a fee, at this point, besides day passes you can purchase most other types of passes i.e., lifetime
Adults $10.00 and children 15 and younger are free.
The rangers are all there and the park is open. You'd have to ask them, but seems promising.
No. ;)
I'm stumped on this one! I owe you a cup of coffee.
The museum is closed right now. No artillery outside.
Only from a number of designated Piers. Most of them are along dogpatch/Midway area. Pacifca has a good pier too.
They're open every day but they close early so call ahead. Have a great time and you should definitely have an awesome seafood dinner while you're there!
Nice idea
I believe only the old ferry is, but you would be limited to the car deck
