I called and booked an appointment for a guided tour, I explained I was i town for 2 days exactly, and that purpose was to sign a lease. The leasing rep was very excited and first gave me an appointment for 1:00 PM then she called back and explained that she double booked and could we re-schedule to 4:30, to which I agreed. My wife and I show up to the place but there is no obvious signage about the where to go to the leasing office so I called and asked for assistance and was hung up on. I called back and was put on hold for almost 10 mins while they were looking for someone to help. Fortunately, a security guard walked out of one of the doors and was able to guide on where to go. We actually arrive in the spot, on time, only to find out that my appointment was scheduled for 4:15 AM. The leasing staff coming out of the office arent even walking up to speak to me they are just yelling their apologies across the lobby promising my wife and I someone is coming to take us on a tour. We wait half an hour only for them to come out and say someone is coming but they are backlogged on tours, at this rate the question then becomes why do you even have appointments in the first place. We ultimately left, no tour, time fully wasted, and with the impression of a set of staff doesn’t have their act together. Given the amount they are asking in rent, I viewed it as a red flag that their team was woefully unorganized and apparently lacked basic customer service skills, since not one but 2 different employees opted to yell instructions and ask me questions from the other side of the lobby rather than walking up to where i was instructed to sit and pose their questions in a civilized manner. Would give a 0 if I could.

This building feels very clean, safe and new. I like how there is so much security around the Trinity plaza and I absolutely love being able to go to Whole Foods without leaving the building. The common spaces are spacious, clean, have fast WiFi, and they have a large gym (although no Pelotons or Woodways in the gym.) There is also assigned resident parking in a brand new parking garage (everything about this building is brand new,) but it is deep underground. I had an excellent tour and move in experience. Leeanna from the leasing office executed my lease in 24 hours. My move-in coordinator, Angela, made sure to text me a few days in advance so I would have her number and she was in communication with me the whole time. The apartment was ready immediately, it was clean, and the loading dock and elevator experience was very smooth. I had one hiccup where my drain in the bathroom didn't work (so weird!) but they sent someone over within an hour and he fixed it. So far, the experience has been fantastic and I love living here!

You might think that this is a modern building with amenities, which is not false. If that is the only thing you are looking for, fine, but there are a few severe problems with the apartment, mostly stemming from the location. I saw a homeless man passed out on the side of the street about 20 feet away from the entrance towards 8th st. From my apartment there is a view of homeless people in the square, and from the rooftop amenities you can see the planned homeless encampments on Hyde St. This is expected for this part of SF, but to my surprise, I also encountered a homeless man in the garage in the 5th floor basement while walking to the elevator. I reported it to the management and asked for a call when the situation was resolved and never heard anything more. I waited in order to pay 435 dollars a month for a reserved EV parking spot, but my spot is frequently taken by other residents. The management office does not do anything about this. The garage is also not secured from criminal activity. My girlfriend's backpack was stolen out of my car's trunk as I walked away in the few seconds before it was automatically locked by my phone. That night, the Airtag attached to her keys was on Post St in Tenderloin. I purchased some self defense items to carry with me now as I go to my car. In addition to my items being stolen from my car, today I found that a large package I received is missing from the mailroom. I presume it was stolen, but there's not much to do about this situation. The employees do not have any control of what's going on here, and you must wait hours to speak with someone who knows what they're talking about. I'll just file a claim with my credit card company.
