Pharmacy on the ball, honored goodrx prices and had everything filled correctly. Which is not always a guarantee at other pharmacies. Store was clean and stocked.

I really do like Safeway stores. I recently moved to Rapid City about 3 weeks ago. The store in itself is really nice, those that work here are friendly, and will help you. HOWEVER, The one area they just don't care about is the produce section. It is always depleted, spoiled products. They just do not care if they provide produce to the community. They also can't use COVID as an excuse any more. You can go to other grocery stores, or walmart's in the area, and their produce section are full with fresh produce. Who ever manages this section of the store does a very, very, poor job.

Always out of sale items. Always. Even very early in the morning. Very dishonest advertising. Plus the management really sucks. Chewing out employees in front of customers. Store is always filthy. Absolutely, the last choice for me, and I HATE shopping at Walmart so, that shows how much I hate shopping at safeway.

Was this the best Safeway I've ever been at? 100% YES. The customer service was beyond satisfying. I had a handsome young man with curly hair help bring my bags to my car. (bad shoulder from college ball) He was kind enough to sit with me and listen to some alternative indie rock. I will surely be back if he is still working there.
