I am so happy to find Modern Pet Salon in Ballantyne! Amanda groomed both of my dogs and she is AMAZING! I highly recommend Amanda. She is caring and conscientious. She did the best job! There are a lot of groomers in Charlotte but Modern Pet Salon is the BEST!

Been going here for years and they have lost my business. Not only does it take months to get an appointment, the owners could care less about their clients. My pup passed away 2 weeks ago and the last thing on my mind was to cancel her grooming. Sent them a note to cancel due to her passing and guess what….CRICKETS! Then I cancelled my other pup 4 days in advanced and I get a nasty gram stating 3 cancellations or no shows in a row and I will have to pay for the services ahead of time. The last time I got both groomed there I waited outside for 45 min because the groomers hadn’t arrived. Could you imagine if I was 45 min late for an appointment there? I get people have car issues but when you own a business you need to step up to the plate. All the previous amazing groomers have left here and now I know why. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! And your response?! Pretty sure 2 were for reschedules. One cancellation was for Monday in which I cancelled Friday for my pet who passed away 2 weeks ago! This company has zero empathy or compassion!!!!!

I have two doodles who LOVE going to Modern Day Ballantyne. I travel often and have no worries my babies will be well taken care of while I am gone. The staff here are so friendly, helpful, and willing to answer any questions or concerns. They also work hard to meet special accommodations. I would highly recommend this place for boarding or day care!

So I made an appointment online for my pooch and I really didn’t know that if it was only for the nails I do not need an appointment. I went in and an employee called “Rachel” came out. I said hi and I came here for the appointment but I’m only doing the nails for him. She replied with an attitude saying the nails are walk-in, don’t need an appointment. I said I didn’t know since it was only my second time here. My point is she did not have to give me an attitude and should have explained me nicely. She could have been nicer a bit with a smile and things could have been better. At least the nails were okay and my pooch came out happy. I have never written a review like this but how I was treated from that employee was kinda offensive for me.
