Does what it says on the box. This is a nature area with some big rocks to climb on and take pictures. Short walking trail by a stream (if we're not in a drought, stream bed if in drought). Good place to go if you want to see some nature without making a big production out of it.

This was an unexpected little area with some big boulders to climb on. My toddler had a great time. There are no designated parking, you just park on the side of the road near the sign. We spent about 30 minutes just walking and climbing on the rocks. If you have kids who loves to climb rocks then they might enjoy it.

My son first went here with some high school friends, but I was not certain actually where it was. Turns out is is in the heart of Ballantyne, and worth checking out! Easy hike lest than two tenths of a mile round trip. Perfect on any occasion to appreciate the great outdoors close to home 😊

Good spot to bring kids to play and climb. There's a combination of large and small rocks that can be climbed on. Beware - one rock is at least a 40-50 foot straight fall from the edge so supervise little ones. There are also trails along a creek. We saw several large hawks. The only real drawback is that you can hear cars on I-485 which like it's only a half mile away. I didn't see any restroom either.
