Water is level is bad... it's clean in the surrounding area. Didn't see any garbage!!! Which is great!

At the end of rural road to the north of town, has the potential to be nice. We ran into a couple, the wife was swimming, the man said it was nice that day because there weren't a bunch of Mexican families. That kind of racism definitely ruins any prospect of enjoying the river.

Some fire damage that looks like they're clearing out.

Hidden, happy little park just before our highway 128 turn off from highway 101. It's a perfect place to stretch your legs, get a few days of sunshine and watch the flowers grow by the river! (Do make sure to see the poison oak...) Many sweet spots for fishing and meditation.

Not much space for that. I would call but my guess would be no.

Yes, you can cook with coal here. There is a disposal receptacle designated for hot ashes.

thinking about kayaking from cloverdale to geyserville do you know how many miles that is aprox. how long it might take? Thanks

In a kayak, doable from McCray entrance of River Park to Geyserville in like 4 hours if you don't stop very much, but you could certainly make it an all day outing. I'd expect quite a bit of portage, although after last year's flood, the gravel bar has changed a lot. I'd guess somewhere between 15 and 20 miles depending on where you start and finish.

Can I dry camp here?
