Not suggesting Cracker Barrel is always a 5-star experience, but when they're on, they're on. In my most recent visit, the food was incredible! The Southern Fried Chicken has been a solid everyday addition to the menu. I was always frustrated Cracker Barrel being a Southern restaurant didn't offer fried chicken. Ever since its been on the menu, it's my go-to. Also, the dumplings are a must, where else can you order them? The loaded casserole tots are a nice premium option. The service was excellent and the bread was great. I always enjoy a glass bottle of soda on my way out and a gaze around the country store. On a nice night sit in the rocker for a minute and close your eyes. You just might feel like you are somewhere peaceful. This place is about as good as it gets in St. Joe.

Had great specials at descent prices. I recommend the chicken and dumplings, seasoned green beans and mashed potatoes. Yummy! Server was nice and polite. I went and browsed the fun gift shop until our food was ready. Adorable merchandise with such a wide variety and found some good prices too.

This was a very delicious meal and definitely worth the money. In addition to food quality the service was A1. Next time we are up this way we'll be back.

We had a good experience. We were able to get right in, got prompt and friendly service and the food came out super fast. I would rate this a five star experience, but when we got out cheesy breakfast potatoes they were cold... not luke warm... cold. We let our waitress know and the manager quickly brought out some piping hot potatoes. We're always friendly when mistakes happen. We don't ask for free stuff or act like jerks. We really appreciate it when the the service staff is responsive and makes it right. I'd definitely go to this location again.
