Party of 4 on saturday night. No wait time and very peaceful inside. Seemed liked only 2 people were working (host and chef). Service was still pretty good. It's a cozy place to sit down with some friends over an authentic Ethiopian dish. I have not previously tried this type of food and....was completely amazed at how good it is. We ordered the kitfo. This food had a bold spiced flavor that explodes all over the palet. Turmeric and cumin for sure, and I don't know what else. Deliciously balanced!

Pretty decent dining experience. Personable staff who will explain the menu and make suggestions. Being pescatarian, I had the fish dish which was very good and quite filling.

If you are looking for great Ethiopian food around Middletown area. You guys need to check this out. The owner is super friendly. I think you can get the Ethiopian vibe here, I mean the food and the environment. Don’t forget to try the Ethiopian tea.

Love the food here. It’s a small staff so service can be slow but they’re not ignoring you on purpose. Favorites here are ayib be gomen, kitfo (only on fri and sat), doro wot, and bozena shiro.
