I went here in September 2021 because I had extreme throat and ear pain and I couldn't get a same day with my PCP. I made an appointment and still waited both in the waiting room and exam room despite no other patients being there. The doctor who examined me spent less than 5 minutes with me and hardly looked at my throat/ears. She gave me a rapid strep test. I was charged for a 30-44 minute visit. Her diagnosis was that I was fine. I went the next day to my PCP and she took the time to actually look at my throat and immediately found a throat ulcer. I tried to dispute being charged for a 30-44 minute visit and was told they would take care of it but received a bill for the same amount with a threat to go to collections. I will never go to Hartford Healthcare Urgent Care facility again.

My experience was amazing. Jessica Murphy the PA was on top of my problem from the beginning. She ordered appropriate tests and followed up with me immediately with results. She even called Midstate Hospital ER to let them know I was coming in. A very good ending to the problem due to her diagnosis.
