Love this store and found what I was looking for and then see but have to admit today it was a total mess with much stock to be put out and many items all over the floors

I used to live in Cheshire and went to this Dollar Tree all the time. I moved and was visiting my mom and had to pick up a few things for her. It was Saturday morning and the store was a mess. Things were just thrown all over the place. Then when I checked out, the cashier was texting through her smart watch while ringing me up and when finishing with the previous customer.

This is one of the worst stores to go to! It always seems to be a mess with product taking up half the aisles sitting on carts instead of the shelves. And they always have only one register open even when it’s busy. The older woman currently working as a manager (I’m assuming) is one of the rudest employees I have encountered there. She should not be working in retail and be able to talk to customers. There were at least 15 customers waiting in line for ONE open register. Another customer asked about opening up a second register. The manager kept walking towards the back all but ignoring the customer saying “as soon as I can get someone I will. We’re short staffed. Nobody wants to work.” 20 minutes go by I am STILL in line but finally at the register and had just put my stuff on the belt when the same woman comes and hops on another register, of course when it’s too late for me. I look behind me and counted another 20 costumers waiting going all the way to the open doors to their back room. Absolutely ridiculous!! The manager has the nerve to say to us all in the rudest tone that “the truck is more important”!!!! I was so shocked. I thought customers were important too! Even if the truck is more important don’t say that to all of us that have been waiting 20+ minutes to check out with our 5 items. Maybe start off by apologizing for the long wait. I am usually very understanding and patient especially in the times we are living. And I get that EVERYONE is short staffed but the way that manager handled and spoke to customers was so extremely inappropriate. I will be avoiding this location at all costs.

They seem to be very good. It's clean and social distancing is enforced. Haven't seen anyone not wearing a mask or anything like that.
