I've been coming to AltaSciences Formally WCCT for about 7 years, I absolutely love it here staff here is like family, food is great, never had one problem. There have been bad/trouble making study participants that have caused problems for staff and other participants and the staff here handled it very professionally and quickly. I highly recommend anyone that want's to do a clinical trial to come here at AltaSciences.

Be ware. This company is a RACIST establishment. If you are not full Japanese, don't even waste your time with this company. I contacted with them because they needed a Japanese volunteer, but they rejected me because I am not a full Japanese despite the website says second or third generation Japanese can participate, but it is a fabrication. If you are Japanese, they will answer the phone right away, but if you are not Japanese, they never answer the phone. I was redirected to non-Japanese line, no one took my phone call that was redirected from Japanese line to general volunteer line. This company should close the business here and move to Japan.

Will be having my first inpatient study here soon. The staff and doctors are all really nice. They work hard to make sure the screenings are quick. I'm hoping the food and stay here is pleasant. I wish they were able to do direct deposit and pay faster though.

Back for another study!!! And there is less ppl staying here so it’s really quite and not a lot of ppl in the rooms! Yes! Only 2 nights 3 days and 17 outpatient visits! $9k for me! Update: completed the study, 4 nights 5 days and they asked me to come back and I get paid an additional $200 for coming back so I don’t see why or how people complain if they get paid so much for literally just doing nothing but drawing blood and taking meds! Lol, hardly any side effects and clean wash after 30 days, I don’t see the issue, besides bring your own blanket I would say and a laptop! Much needed. What else! One shower was the best out of both bathrooms, they just need to clean up faster after people but overall they clean up and it’s cool to see ppl in there and be around ppl, otherwise, yeah I would do another study. Update: I’m currently inside of the study and it’s my first day and it’s about 8pm. So far, it reminds me of camp high hill. You’ll be in sections of the office, all day, get to go for a walk, but come back and eat 3-4 times and then just chill and do whatever inside. Otherwise the staff is the staff, professional, doing their job. So I get paid the full $2500 by June 25/26th. The study is 6/6-6/10 inpatient and then 1 outpatient visit on 6/17 then I’ll be paid. It’s just to test medications. Otherwise everyone else is talking about making bigger money and I’m just over thinking like did I choose the wrong study? Lol but it’s ok for my first time here $2500 but next study I’ll be more prepared with my laptop, cards, games and more movies and stuff. Screening: My wcct experience (actually going through with it) 8:10 check in Covid screening - passed by 8:45 Now upstairs - screening sticker 2nd check in Sitting by the stairs - way more comfortable than last time Met some ppl standing outside, told me about their experiences, also other clinical testing sites such as JALR.ORG. People seem pretty warm and friendly already. 9am - read the packet where it tells me about the study, and the payment 9:18 - watching tv in the waiting room Wonder woman is playing 10am - waiting, sitting, havent been called Signing paperwork Pee check Doctors Blood work Snack Was out by 11:20am Call me by Thursday
