First time here. Short wait time to enter. Was here just to drop off a box spring. Little did I know disposal was free. I guess it depends on where you live. Otherwise, no hassle, easy dumping.

The lady who attended me at the scale her attitude is very unprofessional, she’s racist, and rude.

Well run, inexpensive, efficient to get in and out. It's a dump, there's really not that much to say, especially since I've only dumped household trash there. Worth noting that they only take cash and checks, no cards. $5 for a carload, $20 for a typical pickup truck load. Oh, and for what it's worth, there's pretty views on the way up.

If you bring clean land they don't charge you. 800 pounds of trash whatever they charge you $$$ 40
If it's 2000 pounds of clean soil, there will be no charge as long as it's coming from Orange County. If it's deemed "not clean", the rate will be $59.05 per ton. They will not accept any out-of-county waste.
Yes of course
Only residents from orange county can dump there. Since chino hills is in San Bernardino, they won't allow you. They ask for your driver's license to confirm address

Car, SUV or passenger van is $5 as long as all the trash fits inside the vehicle. Otherwise it counts as a truck. Truck or commercial van 880 lbs or under is $20 or $25 for the load. Current rate for over 880 lbs is $59.05 per ton.
No. TVs are e-waste and need to be disposed of properly. Take it to one of the four Household Hazardous Waste Collection Centers in the county. Drop-off is free for OC residents.

Yes they take Asphalt. They don't take tires, treated lumber, chemical, or TVS
Yes, they will, but you may want to consider a metal salvage. They will pay you for the metal instead of you paying the landfill. Plus, it gets recyled instead of being buried in the ground. Your choice.
From the website: The landfill has enough projected capacity to serve residents and businesses until 2030.
The landfill is open during the rain, they just won't take soil while the ground is wet.
There are hugh bulldozers that take the waste and immediately begin to spread it out and compact it. Jake is correct, it gets buried fairly quickly and every night they spread clean fill dirt out over the top of the area that they worked/dumped on that day. They would not let you go wandering around, with all the bulldozers, it would be dangerous and a liability.
Yes. Just not leaded glass such as from TV sets.

Yes, as long as they have no batteries. If they do, remove and dispose of the batteries properly, then you can take the devices to the landfill.
Any Orange County location can.
Proof that the tash is coming from Orange County, a vehicle to transport the trash, and payment in the form of cash or check.
It is a public landfill, open to Orange County only.
Under 5 cubic yards of CLEAN dirt is free.
Yes, as long as it contains no asbestos.
No tires of any kind.
Yes, But, it is better if you separate the asphalt, if you have only clean asphalt it is free to disposal. And clean dirt. I always let my customers know that if they separate the clean dirt, they will save good money. The Disposal fees are applied by the weight.
It's cash or check. No plastic.

You can in small residential amounts. Call their number to be sure.
Yes you can bring furniture. For extra large items over six feet in length you may be charged a hard to handle fee. However, your regular hauler will probably pick it up from your home for free as part of your regular service if you call and ask in advance.
Yes, as long as it's coming from Orange County. You can also call a metal recycler. They may take it and pay you for the metal instead of you paying the landfill. As an added bonus, it gets recyled instead of being buried in the ground.
Microwaves, no. Most other appliances, yes. Microwaves are considered hazardous waste. You can however take it all to a metal recycler. They'll pay you for the metal instead of you paying the landfill. As an added bonus, it gets recyled instead of being buried in dirt.
"The landfill has enough projected capacity to serve residents and businesses until 2030." - from the landfill's website.
As long as it's coming from an Orange County city, and doesn't contain asbestos, you can.
During heavy rain or shortly after. A lot of the traffic is from trucks hauling soil. The landfill doesn't accept soil while the ground is wet. Any other time, it's busy.
