Polite service, but ended up jamming the release to my vacuum when I dropped it off for just a cleaning.I had to take it back and after another few days the release was still stiff and the main vacuum chamber had been scuffed and scratched.

I was having stitch length and bobbin difficulty with my Singer Protege Sewing machine and had taken into Doc's Vacuum & Sewing Shop. He diagnosed, fixed and explained to me how it happened and how to avoid further problems. I also had kept different sewing feet from a previous singer and was told even though the attachments were similar not to use with the present machine. Discarded those and purchased the appropriate ones as well as the appropriate bobbins. Highly recommend this shop for your sewing machine issues.

Husband brought in older gray thick electrical cord and returned with a thin black cord for $41. Did not like thinner black cord and was told "no return". That's right, I won't return. One star for listening to an upset wife.
