The Hilton website says there is breakfast and the restaurant is open but with modified service. This is not the case. The restaurant is not open at all. Instead they offer a free continental breakfast that is more limited than a Hampton Inn: some juice, yogurt, cereal, saran-wrapped muffins, and under-ripe fruit. The hotel is in poor shape and needs serious work, which it seem like they're actively working on. But I certainly wouldn't return and I would verify any information provided online.

Nice hotel in a great location with direct access to the 55 and 405 freeways in Orange county, California. Lots of restaurants and shops near by and within a few miles of South Coast plaza shopping mall. This hotel desperately needs major updating and you notice that as you pull into the hotel's parking lot. The landscaping is outdated and there are many cracks in the driveway. The lobby and the elevators have old flooring. The carpeting in most floors are old and worn out and there is an old building musty smell. The guest services are poor and not helpful at all. It took us several hours to get fresh towels that we requested. Prices and rates are relatively reasonable. Extra charge for parking every night and the parking is not secure and wide open to the public streets. There is a second Double Tree hotel within walking distance from this hotel which is newer and in better condition.

On 21 Feb 22, we asked to have the room cleaned up at 11:00am. Came back at 2:00 and wasn’t cleaned. At 2:15pm, we asked to have the room cleaned after 2:30pm when we left. Came back at 9:30pm and room wasn’t cleaned. Asked for towels so we could shower but that still took some time to get. Would rather spend double the money somewhere else for better service. UPDATE: for clarity, the room was booked by another person because we are in the area for a wedding. My wife spoke with a supervisor/manager this morning (22 Feb 22) to check out early. The manager on duty was nice and understanding of the situation.

Not recommended to stay here. Terrible service, as a Diamond member I was told I would receive food and beverage credits for me and my guest. Upon checking out I was charged for it with no acknowledgement of the credits. Might as well be a scam. Television was also not working though they claim there were no issues with it. Save you money, book with another reputable hotel. Supervisor I spoke with was Josephine who could not help me at all. I'll be taking my business to Marriott from now on.
