Truly a treasure and so glad someone had the gumption to preserve this site a create this experience. The museum is really well laid out and does a great job of putting you in the shoes of one of the lucky people in attendance that weekend. There are lots of interactive exhibits, artifacts, interpretation, and they are continuing to uncover more stories through research and contributions from those who were there. You can easily spend 4 hours there. We missed the free concert they had going on that day but we could have easily spent the whole day there if we started outside first.

It's a bit surreal being at the site of Woodstock. I'm into music professionally and have seen video clips and heard movies for decades now. But to stand on the actual grounds was exciting. There is so much history here and there are lots of visuals on premises. The museum had tons of items to see. Exhibits were Interactive and engaging. Also found that there were groups, bands, and artists that were not announced in any publication I've seen previously, so in modern terms I found Woodstock Easter eggs! Also realized that this event was not held in the city of Woodstock but in Bethel Woods! Interesting story as to why if you're ever up north in New York state, it is worth the trip.

Beautiful place. Nice customer service! Great food options inside as soon as you go in to pay for the museum. Well worth it to pay extra for ipad tour.

Great place to visit whether you know about the historical nostalgia of Woodstock or just want to learn. We brought our nine year old daughter who has had a strong interest in this culture since she could listen to music and she was thoroughly amazed. This is her second year there and she insisted we do the entire tour again.
