I was here on Saturday, August 6th. I arrived at 6am and there were cars already parked. The trail is easy. It has a gradual incline but nothing too strenuous. There were a couple of bees at the top. It was pretty warm and it got hotter as the day progressed. I recommend this hike. Happy Hiking!

Great spot for a quick hike that is normally not as crowded as the bigger higher peaks that are it's neighbor, I am excited to continue to go here and hike it, the views are pretty amazing if you have read any of the other comments.

Fun moderate trail. It’s about 7 miles round trip. But the trailhead doesn’t have a lot of parking and it’s on gravel. You can park on the Main Street a mile away. There’s 4 switchbacks. The first one you need to make a sharp left then the rest will lead you right to the top. There are couple short cuts on All trails app. They’re steeper but doable. If you go to watch the sunset, bring headlamps. It’ll be pitch dark afterwards.

This review is from starting at the trailhead nearest Baldy Village. The perfect trail for people that don't really "hike". No climbing over boulders or anything else acrobatic. You are going to want to bring a little water with you if you plan to be walking for awhile. It starts as a fairly wide trail that hits a road in a few miles. If you go to the left, the service road will take you to the repeater/tower site on Sunset Ridge. If you go to the right, you are going back downhill (for the most part) and the road will eventually take you back to Glendora Ridge Road, much further to the west towards Glendora. When walking towards Sunset Ridge, you can walk whatever feels comfortable up the fairly easy grade, then coming back to the car is mostly down hill. Try for a little bit farther the next time you go. If you can, do this on a weekday, then you can head over to the Mount Baldy Lodge for lunch. It's in the heart of Baldy Village, and serves a really good diner menu.
