The squirrels are horrible. They ate through the wires on my vehicle and I had to have it towed to a repair shop. Nobody at the campground offered to do anything to mitigate the problem. Be aware so your vehicle doesn't get damaged.

It is a nice base. Clean. Uso on sight during the day, they are closed at night. They offer snacks, coffee and soft drinks.

The famcamp is very nice, each spot was very spacious and the clean. It's just a small camp that's first come first serve. So unless you are there at 6am you might get lucky to find a spot.

Mike was awesome. Made sure we had a spot and helped guide me to it after the first pull through we tried had too tight of a turn for our rig to negotiate. Didn't use the amenities, so can't comment on them. Was quiet and convenient. I'd stay here again if I were in the area.

Anyone with military ID: retired, dependant, etc; DOD, or active duty military can stay at the FamCamp. My suggestion is to download the UCmilitaryCG app and read the details of the base you're wanting to stay at. SOMETIMES they will allow civilians to stay on base however, remember, you are on a military installation. You are and will be subject to military rules and regulations. Basically that boils down to "Mind your manner's!" Respect, dignity and mindfulness is higher on a base than the civilian sector. Hope this helps.
You can call the MWR office and speak to anyone there and they will tell you what the rates are for your needs & if there are any available slots.
Depends on the season $460 is what we paid...call them they have awesome hosts!
Military and veterans and DOD ONLY!!!
Not without a military id., retired, vet., etc.
ID is required. You can only get a pass if a current service member or retiree signs you onto the base or you are 100% disabled and have that ID card issued.
