Great trail for sunrise hike. Parked here to hike the entire 12 mile loop but the section to Garnet Peak was the highlight. Lots of bugs at the peak so I left about an hour after sunrise. I parked at 5:45am on a Saturday and there were already 4 cars at the trailhead.

Beautiful! Late March and still a bit of snow. Take a wind breaker?!!! I can't say it enough. The pris at the end of the loop are wind. Lots of mountain lion tracks but no sightings, fun fun trip.

Absolutely fantastic the tree lines are a sight to see Fresh mountain air great for road cycling mountain biking trail running/hiking. Me and my dogs love the spot
