30 Jul 22 - This is a GREAT park. Great sites, full hookups, right on the water (if you reserve it). WiFi is "ok". Laundry is $1/load. Sadly, masks are required in-facilities again (Navy requirement), nothing they can do about that though. Small store, that DOES have drinks for sale. Marina has small recreational kayaks and SUPs for rent. Been here a week so far, NO REGRETS!

Great camping spot, you're inches off the water, small but very clean and walking distance to down town Coronado island. My kids had a great time.

Vehicle Storage on Naval Air Station North Island is at 619-545-7235. They can help you out with long term vehicle storage.
The sites on the water are not pull thru, but the second row are pull thru I believe.
As long as one of you has a military ID. The family can stay...That is the case for any military facility for the most part.
$30-35 a night for electric, water, sewer. Cheaper if you do week stay or Month.
We live in a 44 foot 5th wheel. And we fit in a pull thru just fine. The back in spots are also just as big. And you can overhang quite a bit on spots along the beach. You will have no problem fitting. And there is also plenty of extra parking, if you decide to not park your vehicle in your spot. I'm able to fit my small suv in our spot and my husband parks our dually in the extra parking. 👍🏻
Unfortunately no. Active and Retired service members only.

Note they share a gravel area with picnic table. Also just across the road from the dumpster, unfortunately, as well.
As long as you are Active Duty or retired military you are an eligible patron. We are happy to have all branches of the military in the Park.

This is a military RV park. Only active duty and retired personnel. Also, you can only stay for 3 weeks at a time.

Nope. MCRD is at least a half an hour north of Fiddler's Cove off the 5 freeway. Fiddler's Cove is off the highway 75 or Silver Strand, in Coronado, California.
Even though we are off base we have to follow the same rules of the base. The military sponsor must be on site while non-military guests are at the facility.
Yes during daytime hours the gate is open and visitors are welcome. When the gate is closed you will need to have someone you know let you in.
