I left this location feeling very accomplished. I was lucky finding parking and the staff was very helpful. HOWEVER, the reason I visited this location was to get the correct form and ask for help filling it out before mailing it. I didn't want to keep going back and forth if there was a mistake on the form as those take very long to process. A couple months later, I was sent back the form (with my check luckily), and told that I had used an outdated form and the county sent me the correct form.... how can a county building not have the correct forms at their disposal?

Parking might be a challenge, but I got there when it open. No line. Enter through the main entrance, electric doors , check in with security. past 2nd electric doors make a right, 1st door to the left. $28 for birth certificate after filling out paperwork , bring a former of ID. GOD Bless 🙏🤙

It took me longer to find parking than to get the death certificate. Staff was professional and friendly.

Unfortunately not, you would have to go to any public vital records location in LA County.
You have to contact the court where you filed for the divorce.

Only the county you were born in will have your birth certificate
Your best best is to do it by mail. This office doesn't take online applications. Find the application and instructions on sandiegocounty.gov.
You would have to get a court order first to remove who ever is listed on the certificate.
He can order one by mail. Only immediate family (parents, grandparents, siblings and spouse) can pick up birth certificates.
Contact the county recorder/clerk.
