Very good consumer service and so friendly. They got everything ready and will walk you though everything.

Literally the worst. I have been in multiple times and never had a great experience. The staff delivers terrible customer service and prices are not in line with other shops.

Recent visit to Anglers Center was commendable, 4 stars. Only needed a few minor items, swivels and clips. However this time the young staff was polite, attentive, helpful - not pushy or boastful, warm and friendly with conversational skills. Inventory is outstanding as usual. Note to management, as a suggestion to increase sales, soft skills training is more art than science. One excellent low-cost source is having a guest speaker come-in from a local toastmasters chapter, provide an hour or two of interpersonal communication, help improve listening skills, eye contact, body language, voice inflection, power of suggestion and other soft skills that generate sales and increase the bottom line. I suggest this because I'd like you guys to be around a long time. Thoughts from a National Sales Manager, prior yacht broker and current USCG 100T Captain. 7 months ago It was hit or miss with staff. Sometimes they are grouchy, inattentive or challenge your decisions as they have anointed themselves as the worlds experts, other times they are helpful, lend their knowledge and act like sales persons. Note to management, get your people sales trained up on sales, they might they know how the ins and outs of fishing, but are mud when it comes to selling, customer service and delivering an exceptional store experience. Inventory wise, they have all the gear. The staff knows is how to catch a fish, what they don't know is how to catch a fisherman. Two stars for inventory, one star for staff. Capt. Ray USCG 100T Skipper and lifetime fisherman.

Ordered a few Aftco gaffs 8-23-18. They were in stock, and said to be delivered in 3-6 days. On 9-5-18 they send an email showing a shipping label had been created, but not used yet. I asked them to quit waiting around and ship it, and to eat the $18.50 shipping fee as its been way past when it should have been here, but was still in their shop. They refused to refund it and said although it's billed as shipping, that shipping was free, and the charge was for packaging. She then gave me multiple excuses as to why my order was still sitting in their shop. It could be that we had it listed as in stock but wasn't, inventory was wrong, it could have been lost, or maybe something else out of her control. She said she was sorry no updates were ever sent to me, and could not give a solid answer to anything. Other vendors we deal with go above and beyond to make sure we can get back on the water quickly. THESE GUYS DO NOT CARE IF THEY LEAVE YOU STUCK AT THE DOCK, OR DO ANYTHING TO TRY TO PREVENT IT. THEY ARE NOT FISHERMEN. FV Sunburnt and Salty fishing team.

Yes we do!
Hi Susan, we get this question a lot but we unfortunately do not rent any equipment, and have yet to find anyone in the area that does do rentals. Hope this information helps, enjoy your trip.
No, not live. Only at Newport bait barge, called "San Pedro Bait Co". Boat access only.
