Lance was very knowledgeable about the laws and an excellent instructor. I enjoyed his class and learned alot.

I recently took the 16 hour ccw qualification course with lance and he is a phenomenal educator, his approach to teaching is very effective ( I’ll speak for myself as I normally flounder and fail in classroom settings) and professional. The range time, I felt safe at all times on the range despite there being an inexperienced shooter present. I walked away with more knowledge and skill after 4 hours with lance then training on my own for over a year. Thank you, - the bathrooms were clean as a whistle.

An amazing training group and Trent is a top notch - top of the line instructor. They care about what they are doing and about their students. You get to do serious work in a great atmosphere. I will take all of my training with them. When you leave a class you take a lot with you. Take the class again and take more with you - each time. Classes are chock full of info so do it here.

Trent was an excellent instructor. My wife and I debated between doing our ccw training here or at Artemis. I'm really glad we chose to come here. The hands on training at the range with your own weapon that Trent puts you through vs the simulated course that Artemis has, in my opinion, made me so much more comfortable with my firearm. That, to me, was worth it. Do be aware that if you have a modified firearm, that you will learn why that it might not be a good idea during the classroom portion of the class. I will be returning for more of the classes that FAST OC is offering. Thank you Trent!!!

Yes. If you take the basic handgun course, you can get your FSC card at the class.
All of our courses, times and costs are posted on our website. For renewals visit fastoc.com/4-hour-oc-ccw-renewal-courses We. do the course for $90, and this covers the course cost, range fee, course materials and we don't charge extra for additional firearms.
There's no course required to take the test for the FSC. It can be taken at any location that retails firearms. We offer to proctor the exam at the end of our basic courses which can be found on our website at www.fastoc.com
In order to get the OCSD CCW, you will need to be in possession of a firearm that's registered to you. The FSC is for those who are purchasing a home firearm in the State of California, so for you, it may sound as though you'll need to get the FSC first, make a purchase, and then take the CCW course with your firearm. Hope this helps!
Yes, your father would be able to take the test for the FSC in spanish. The study guide in spanish for the test is located here: https://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/firearms/forms/finalspanishbook.pdf
At this time, we do not offer the PC832A or PC832F course. The one that appears to be close to us is located here: https://sac.edu/AcademicProgs/HST/CJA/Pages/Basic-Academy-.aspx
We do not, however I believe that Turner's outdoors offers the course.
We evaluate emotional maturity over age for our younger students. Safety always comes first in firearms and the ability for a student to understand concepts of firearms safety is first and foremost.
The FSC has a lot of questions about California gun laws. If you know those well, you can just take the test.
It's mostly common sense stuff man. I got out of the Corps in 2015 and took the FSC at the gun store counter, early this year, without having taken any classes. I didn't miss any questions.
