Worst location within the Charlotte Metro area. Unprofessional and deplorable. Staff is not customer oriented. Their order pickup service and commitment is a joke, acutally FRAUD. Placed a curbside order at 5pm, the day prior. Called to see if the order was ready at 7pm. Per the company website, orders will be ready within 2 hours or less. After speaking with the assitant manager Angelique, she advised they have 3 hours to pull orders. Since the store was closing at 8pm, it would not be in fact pulled. Reminder I placed the order at 5pm, well before it was remotely close to closing. The manager as well as staff, was very unprofessional with a definite unconcerned attitude. The order was for an event later that evening. Which was not any benefit, since the staff did not want to do their jobs. I went into store to see if they were in fact busy possibly. The staff was standing around, with no real task. The manager was standing at the register having a chat with her girlfriend at 7pm. Unlike SEPHORA where my order would have been ready in less then 2 hours. Ulta does not allow you to cancel the order, instead holds your money for 5 business days, if the order is not collected, then it is cancelled. Report them as FRAUD, as they are. Please like and comment this will be posted across all websites and social media.

By far the worst experience ever. As an African-American woman I felt very uncomfortable. No one greeted me and felt as if I was being watched the entire time I was in the store. Will not ever go back

DO NOT GO TO EDDY. It’s taken me the *longest* time to review this place because it brings up such a bad experience and anxiety for me. I had to wear wig after wig and do treatment after treatment to get my hair back after visiting their salon a few years ago. I hope to god that they’ve gotten better stylists by now. Eddy is who I had back then and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said it wouldn’t be a problem at all to get it done. I was there the longest time- I believe it was about four hours or near that when I just decided to leave. She had bleached my hair not one, not two, but THREE times back to back AND wanted to do it a fourth time! And no, we’re not talking about in sections. My entire head. It was to the point where she couldn’t brush it without hair coming out and she couldn’t dry it because my hair was desperately clinging onto any moisture it could get. I told her how uncomfortable I was with the state of my hair and she told me she wanted to bleach it one more time. Even some of her colleagues were looking at her like she was crazy! My ends are still wrecked from this and it’s been YEARS. I didn’t want to write a review, but I wanted to save others from going to her. OH! And when I left the salon with wet noodle hair, they STILL made me pay even though my hair was literally falling out. I called the store about it after I calmed down the next day (and my hair was STILL not dry) and they said “you’ll have to call corporate” and HUNG UP. That’s when I just left it alone because I don’t need that negativity in my life. A friend of mine mentioned that she wanted to potentially get her hair done at Ulta and mentioned this location, so of course it brought all those memories back. Then I found out that Eddy’s name is still under the stylists and my jaw freaking dropped at the amount of peoples hair she’s probably ruined over the past couple of years. For reference, this is a photo of my hair 36 hours AFTER seeing her. I didn’t even get in the pool but it was still wet from my visit with her (what hair I had left). It was a completely terrible experience that left me with thin and horribly damaged hair for years. Like I said at the beginning, I wore wigs for quite some time because of how my hair was treated. I still can’t believe that she wanted to bleach it again after that. Just overall a horrible place. Go somewhere else if you want your hair done. I’m begging you.

This Ulta location's customer service is the WORST. I had two instances, today and on my birthday when the cashier could not scan my coupon so instead of trying, they told me the coupon was invalid. This was FALSE because I went to the Rivergate store the same day and they scanned my 20% coupon on the app with zero issues. Today (12-11-21) Not only did the cashier not bother to ask for assistance or type in the coupon code, she flat out insisted it it was invalid and then LIED and said my items were not eligible for the 20% off, which , again was a lie. I know how the coupon work and I know when to use them Then she kept trying to grab my phone from me and when I told her not to touch my phone screen, she lied AGAIN and said I can't use the coupon and said maybe I should apply for the credit card in order to get the 20% off. I will not step foot inside this location EVER, until they get some sense and get some staff that knows what they are doing. I left all of my purchases on the counter and left the store. Never again.
