I was having such difficulty learning to throw on the wheel and getting frustrated, so took a one on one class with Dan at the Clay Yard. He was an excellent teacher! Step by step he showed me what I was doing wrong, and I finally had that "aha" moment! I still need tons of practice, but, can actually throw a bowl now! Thank you!

A cooperative ceramic studio where you pay a monthly fee or single use fee to expand your skills in ceramic and clay art, join a fun and amazing community, and learn more about the art. Facility has kilns that are available for a fee to outsiders and free to fee for members depending on the size and demand. The facility also has very knowledgeable folks onboard as well as high quality tools and potter wheels. As an outsider dropping in to check things out I was greeted very warmly with zero pressure to join. I was able to purchas 2 types of clay here incuding raku.

They do sell clay. I don't believe they sell glasses. If you join the consortium, however you can use all of their glasses as part of your monthly fee. They also do all of your kilning for you. It's a fantastic deal! Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
